hey all, i know about
general > refresh icons history > history > history retains selections
that works great, however, so you copy and paste a url, and only then you go up the folder
that means you havent had it selected before
how can we make it selected upon exiting a folder?
thank you
how to auto select folder that you exit

Re: how to auto select folder that you exit
yes and no, thats already enabled, but i like to use the URL tree
for example
F:\programs\0ASSETS\3D\Devil May Cry 5 Dante Sparda Sword\documentation
say i am in "documentation"
and instead of going back or forward, or up, i just click on the folder tree in the URL onto for example "3D", it would be nice if "Devil May Cry 5 Dante Sparda Sword" would be selected?

Re: how to auto select folder that you exit
Not possible. But there is something similar: In the Breadcrumb Bars enable "Show Downward Path".

Not in the settings... Right click the breadcrumb bar

Re: how to auto select folder that you exit
im not sure if people are understanding what i mean, im sure its quiet simple and im sure people would benefit from you
just to make sure im explaining correctly, i have attached image for example
so say i am in:
F:\programs\0ASSETS\3D\Lamps Lighting Lantern\TomaszFortyFour\Coke Oven
and in the breadcrumb bar i click on:
Lamps Lighting Lantern
since we exited out of the previous location
F:\programs\0ASSETS\3D\Lamps Lighting Lantern\TomaszFortyFour\Coke Oven
going up the url to
F:\programs\0ASSETS\3D\Lamps Lighting Lantern\
ideally
TomaszFortyFour
should remain selected as we went up it, i cant be the only one that repeatedly has to find the folder each time?

Re: how to auto select folder that you exit
It sounds like you didn't apply the tweak properly, run this in the address bar and see if it returns 3.
msg getkey("AutoSelectMRUSubfolderExtended", "Settings");-
