hi! is there a command or shortcut that allows me to "repeat the last command/action" ?
for example, i right-click on a file, Rename Special and select Aaa Aa.aaa - perfect, file renamed. then i select another file (or files) and want to do the same exact "action" as i just did. is this possible ?
i looked through the menu choices and did a search here, but wasn't able to find anything.
Repeat Last Command ?

No, and scripting that is near impossible as well, die action log isn't a human readable file...
One of my scripts helped you out? Please donate via Paypal

Re: Repeat Last Command ?
I agree it would be nice, but this is not logged. And it would be a crazy effort to add that.
What I probably could add much easier is "the last command triggered by keyboard shortcut" because those ones all run thru the same door.

Re: Repeat Last Command ?
that's a great idea. in the event that a keyboard shortcut wasn't used, would it be possible to "record" the last "command id" triggered, either by menu, keyboard shortcut, etc. ? then you would be just recalling the last command id used. maybe that would easy to implement ?

Sure, that would be the way to go, but it's exactly the part that's missing: command IDs are not logged (unless the command is called by keyboard shortcut).
