Zebra striping in rename window
When using one of the Rename functions how to turn off the highlighting of every other row?

Re: Don't know name so can't find it
Are you talking about this?
This is indeed extreme. A bug I'd say. I'll look into it to soften the effect...
Note that you cannot turn that off at the moment.

I mean, I could just remove the whole zebra striping here. And maybe add line numbers instead (to make it easier to visually match the lines). Opinions?

zebra stripes are much easier for matching up lines.

Re: Don't know name so can't find it
My zebra striping looks fine on both dark and normal modes. Maybe it's because I have only mild shading. In any case I like it in both modes.

Re: Don't know name so can't find it
I'm fine with zebra stripes as well, it's just that on the dark mode it looks too extreme as you said. I have to read white on black and white on blue which is difficult. This is totally different on the light theme where I have to read black on white and black on blueish-white:

So +1 to keep the zebra stripes but +1 to modify the zebra colors on the dark theme.
PS: the text color of modified items (green on light theme, greenish-white? on dark theme) is not really discernible from the text color of unchanged items.

Just fixed the stripes. That was really a bug.
I'll check that.

Re: Don't know name so can't find it
So now that we know the name of it could someone please change the subject accordingly?
Edit: Thanks, that was quick.

Re: Zebra striping in rename window
Hi,
sorry to bump this after three years but the Zebra grid in the preview window is still pretty irritating to me (especially when using it for a longer period).
So I'm wondering if a "fix" (I know it's not a bug) or workaround was added for this in the meantime, any idea would be appreciated.
This is what it looks like to me right now: With the "Adaptive colors" setting (Dark Mode) it looks much easier on the eye, but unfortunately that setting also dims all my other custom colors. Thanks.
