Using 24.00.0600 on a Win10 box...
I'm not sure if a recent Windows update has caused this issue, or if a recent XY update did.
When opening any MS Office file by double-clicking it or by right-click > open, the file opens and XY immediately pushes it to the background. This doesn't occur with any other file format that I've tried. .txt, .jpg, . pdf, .exe, .mp3, etc all open as before and stay in the foreground.
I'm thinking it's probably Windows, but it's easier to get an answer here than to try one of their horrible forums. When I have time tomorrow I'll try rolling back XY to an early 24 version.
Thanks.

Re: MS Office Files in Background
Just putting an end to this...
Before doing anything with Windows <shudder> I downgraded XY to 24.00.0000 and the issue did not happen. I then upgraded to 24.00.0400 and the issue did not happen. Finally I went to 24.00.0600 and the issue did not happen. It was happening yesterday and this morning with 24.00.0600. Now it isn't. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
