I don't know when or why this happened but I know for a fact that I used to be able to simply right-click columns and edit their content (be it for Tags, Comments, Rating, etc...).
Now when I right-click, it just looks like a fairly standard file menu? How can I make edits to those columns while having 'Full Row Select' enabled?
Thx!
When 'Full Row Select'...how to edit Comment/Tags/ etc...?

I'd try this:
Configuration | Information | Tags | Also on Full Row Select
Configuration | Information | Tags | Also on Full Row Select

Re: When 'Full Row Select'...how to edit Comment/Tags/ etc...?
On the same topic of 'Full Row Select' so I'm keeping it in this thread...
The 'Full Row Select' setting is not retained, even within the same boot cycle and same tab view, meaning it's not that it gets lost after a restart of XY, I just simply click around browse other tabs and 'Full Row Select' is no longer enabled...I'm sure it wasn't like this before? Any ideas?
Also, I'm quite sure that previously, enabling 'Full Row Select' would enable it all across XY, now it's seems tab-specific.
Thanks for any clarifications!

I've noticed that I frequently need to reenable it...that's not normal, right?
I don't do anything special, just that after X amount of time, the 'Full Row Select' gets disabled?
EDIT: this time, it didn't even take an hour for it to disable itself...should I move this to a bug report?

Are you using any Folder View Settings?

I'm not sure I know what you mean? If I go to 'View'/'Views', it says 'Details' but something tells me that's probably not what you're talking about?
EDIT: Found it! (duh, it was right there in the 'View' menu, don't know how I missed). So yes, it appears I am (didn't even know).
I'll now save the view and see how that goes. What is strange though, is that the way the 'Full Row Select' got disabled was pretty random. Like today, I didn't even close and reopen a tab, much less XY itself, and yet it disabled itself.
Anyway, I'm just looking for the solution so if this is it...great!
