Rocker Click Backwards ?

Post by GreetingsFromPoland »

"rocker-click" (Left-Mouse-Down + Right-Mouse-Click)
isn't this backwards ? i use rocker click in quite a few other software and it is always Right-Mouse-Down + Left-Mouse-Click. this is not the default/normal in many other software.

Just a guess: if that would be right-down first, that would already work as ordinary context menu call, so left-down and then right-click is a way to work.

i understand, thank you. i guess i am used to software offering both and since i default to right-down+left-click i never noticed the other way.

this is from vivaldi help as example :
Use Rocker Gestures
To perform an action using Rocker Gestures, you have two options:
Rock to the right – hold down the left mouse button, then click the right mouse button.
Rock to the left – hold down the right mouse button, then click the left mouse button.
the same is for my phpstorm, notepad++ (with extension), vscodium, firefox (with extension). since this software doesn't have both, i will just use normal right-click as it doesn't feel natural "the other way".
