Im using for several weeks. Always almost work.

But... Some names, or characters, make thumbail wont work. Like ( - # | ) and some characters combinations that the folder picks a different image to make thumbnail.

Can you tell us a little more of your secrets? Maybe even an example of a filename that doesn't work?

Like this: In main folder, I see this thumbnail:
14.jpg
But, inside this folder, has two files. The thumbnail is renamed correctly, like the folder. But thumb is showing another one.
15.jpg
It fails in 0,001% of the folders. I tried remove spaces and/or special characters. Sometimes it works. But in extreme cases, not.

Does it help if you refresh that thumbnail?

I tried. Both types (selected and all thumbnails in view -> cache)

Im going to place some examples that I found here. Maybe you can recognize some pattern that I missed:

I checked: There is no desktop.ini or other files that can get XY confused.

I just found something interesting:

1. I tried to rename. To random names. No name works.

2. I tried to re-save original jpg, no works

3. I tried to save as a PNG file. Works.

So... There is something about a jpeg file. Not about the name. Im going to dig more.

If you rename the folder the thumbnail is not auto-updated in the cache. As I said you have to refresh the thumbnail (View | Caches | Refresh Selected Thumbnails).

Got it: it's the UPPER CASE extension! What a pathetic bug. Next beta. Thanks for the report.
