Paper folder archive entries can't be extracted with ZIP context menu

While testing the new RAR functions of version 21.70_beta_0104
I found that Paper folder entries which point to zip or rar archives can't be extracted with the ZIP context menu.

Ok, no problem.
I have the context menu entries for 7zip and WinRAR available for the Paper folder entries.

Edit > Copy, and then Edit > Paste Special > Paste Extracted, does work in 20.70.0104 beta.

@Horst: Ah okay, "here" is the location of the archive. Yes, I can make that command available for PF as well.

That would be a very good addition as I havily use Paper folders as result of Everything searches.
Btw. WinRar also handles 7z files so may be its possible that you can extend the handling also for .7z files.

Well, looks like the command line interface does not support 7z :\ ... at least with my version (UNRAR 5.01 freeware).

Only WinRAR.exe accepts all sorts of archives.
Many users have WinRAR installed so it may be an option to use it if you find it.
But if Paper folders will only accept zip and rar for extracting its better than now.

Hi Don,

I'm getting an error message with 21.70.0105 when using a paper folder, right-clicking a .zip file and then selecting Zip > Extract here:

The directory name is invalid.

The files in the paper folder are there in the real file system.

They can however be extracted through dragging to a real folder and selecting Extract here.

21.70.0106 works for me now.

21.70.0106 is a big improvement, I think not only for me
I can extract a mix of zip, rar and even 7z archives in one step
even from different locations and also from a Paper folder.
