Is there a way, even if through scripting, to have each tab automatically reset the tree?
At the moment, when you switch between tabs, it keeps all the folders expanded from other tabs and the tree view can become quite cluttered, quite fast.
I don't want to use the mini tree feature, because that collapses everything to the single, current folder. I want it to behave like when you reset the tree from the view menu.
I want, when I click on a different tab, it should sort of automatically perform a "reset tree" command, or act like a reset tree command was performed.
Auto reset tree.

Simply tick this:
Configuration | General | Tree and List | Tree | Auto-optimize tree

Re: Auto reset tree.
I do have it ticked, but it doesn't do anything. If I untick it, it makes no difference.

Re: Auto reset tree.
That solved the problem. Thank you very much!
I tested it, for some reason it wouldn't save it to the file. When I closed Xyplorer, it reset it back to 0 again.

Re: Auto reset tree.
Maybe this is a good place to describe my problem...
Since the beginning of time I have:
After I open a lot of tabs via SC, where the address of the each one points somewhere in the network, I then.... Visit one tab: Target folder expanded, as expected. I then visit some other tab: Both the addressed folder of this tab AND of the previously visited tab are expanded. The expanded folders continue to accumulate with the visit of each new tab...
I think that I am noticing this for some months now. It definitely did not start with the current version, but way before. Am I just dreaming that this was not the case before? Or am I the only one to see this (settings?)?
Any ideas? Can you people recreate this behavior? Thanks.
