Full path of Special System Folders

Post by espressodaily »

Is there a way to display the full path of Special Folders instead of their
name, i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\fred\My Documents\download instead of My Documents\download\

Yeah, that would be good actually, as I copy from the address bar a lot. I'm sure it's just an option, but...

Ctrl+P (or the "Copy Path" etc. context menu commands) always copy the real path.

Man, it was a lot of work to get those special paths working. I won't take it back now.

Don't get me wrong, I like the special paths as well, but when trying to paste a path into another app which doesn't recognise them it was a pain. Thanks for the CTRL+P tip, that solves the problem completely :)

I know about Ctrl+P, I just copy/paste from the address bar all the time and the fact that the Special System folders are a different case is a bit cumbersome.

Also, as a developer, I like seeing the "real" path whenever possible :D

Regardless...XYPlorer is a wonderful program.
Great job!
