Is there a way to customize the status bar?
The idea is to see how much space is available on hard drives as a percentage of the total size, in addition to the free space in GB.

Or is there a function I have been missing that shows me that kind of info by some other means?

I see it on my statusbar.

I believe you're both right. It's not shown when something is selected. However, when nothing is selected, it's all shown...

You're right, avsfan. Deselecting is the key here. Could swear I had tried that, but obviously didn't.
