I went over the whole website and reconsidered certain parts. (Still not finished.) The donate thing felt wrong, so I removed it.

The web site now looks fantastic* by the way.
* Except for the 'Tour' section with it's 3D, rounded, beveled buttons from the mid nineties!

(but I'm sure this is what you mean by not finished yet)
Thank you!
Yes, actually the whole "Tour" is pretty outdated also content-wise. Damn it, no time... But yes, the beveled buttons are horrible... they will have to go to hell.

Well, kind of true especially since its not a freeware.
But maybe have it in Lounge?
Or sticky in forum? For free users (GOTD) or other kind of users who feel guilty?

But even the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) allows one to donate more in taxes than they owe so why not have a place that isn't too obvious to keep the donate for any existing user who want's to send ya a bit more for coffee/beer fund or whatever?
They may have already bought it before but feel you deserve a bit more for adding some wish of theirs or such.
That's why putting it in the Lounge seems a possible place to kepp it around.
I have your address in my PayPal so I can keep sending you a small gift if I desire but others may not have done so.

I Vote for licence lounge.
I don't need a new licence. But would be willing to donate to the worthy cause known as XYplorer.

Hi Don,
I can see why you would feel the donation button "felt wrong" since XYplorer is not freeware (i.e., a non-registered user should buy it if he/she is feels guilty), but for us registered users, especially those with lifetime licenses, want to help out when we can for your continued dedicated support of your great computer program...long live Windows (contrary to what many are saying these days), XYplorer (and Don along with it). I vote to keep the donation button somewhere and maybe the License Lounge is the appropriate place since it is for the licensed users only.
Thanks,
Ken

Thanks, but it's okay. If you really cannot stand the pressure anymore, you can always write a review somewhere.

Thanks for the reply.
The funny/weird thing is that you have to know the exact page address, else there's no way you can reach it.
Mmh, I can't choose

as paypal currency?

To those who have donated in the past and are familiar with Paypal: I can donate even if I don't have a Paypal account, right? It's like buying software via Paypal without a Payal account, with no bills at home?
