[Solved] Q: Focus list on tab select

Hi'
I suspect a tweak for it already exists somewhere but I can't find it:
I'd like the list to always be focused when I click on a tab - even when coming from tree view.
Case (Brutal!) :
- In List, select items
- (*)
- In Tree, select the current opened folder
- Above the List, select the current tab to "focus" it
- Click on the Delete or Nuke button [Nope, don't do it!
]
>> the whole folder is deleted, not the selected items.
Visually, it's normal: the items do have their "Selected List Items" color, and not their (WinXP) grey "really selected" color, so I should have known that they were, well... selected, but not selected and focused.
(*) What I did in between,I don't remember...But it kinda made sense, and I know it already happened to me a few (rare) times.
Edit: I remember! After having selected the items to delete, I right-clicked on their parent folder in the tree to view the properties and size of their whole folder. I then clicked on the tab thinking it would refocus it, before deleting...
PS: And like others here it seems, Shift+Del or Nuke is a reflex - so my recycle bin is not green nor ganga.
It's... empty
