Hi,

Currently I am unable to drag & drop any image file into XYplorer directly from any website loaded Google's Chrome browser.

Firefox and Opera 12.12 do not have this issue concerning drag & drop Image file.

What follows is a question of an Opera user - it has nothing to do with a bug itself, so slightly OT.
I am also using Opera 12.12 USB portable and have now tried that from Opera, out of curiosity. It works good with explicit image files, like .gif, .jpg and the like.

Naive as I am, I then tried to drag and drop an element of a dynamically created webpage itself, for instance a button area "new topic" out of this forum. A Rich copy cursor icon appears and - no matter if I press Ctrl for Copying or stay by Move - I receive an error dialog, something like "File was not found under opera\profile\temporary_downloads\" (and there is no file indeed). In these cases Opera seems not to create any file there.

Is this possible in other web browsers? (When I try the same from MSIE, an URL link is created in XYplorer (which indeed makes some sense too).)

Look, my issue is with Chrome browser's drag & drop to XY, please don't digress.

Was hoping to know if any other users experienced this issue with Chrome browser?

Until yesterday, I could always drag & drop files from XYplorer onto a Gmail email, to attach them. This has suddenly stopped working. Anyone know what is going on?

No. It wasn't me.

Damn. It also doesn't work in Firefox. Will try to figure it out.

Sadly, Drag & Drop works fine from Windows 10's File Explorer to both Firefox and Chrome

I actually had to stop using XYplorer months ago (and go back to DirectoryOpus) because it can no longer drag and drop files into Gmail emails in Chrome.

A few days ago I had to switch from Windows 10 back down to Windows 7 (for reasons not relevant here), and so I thought I would check whether XYplorer worked under Windows 7. Sadly, I still cannot drag and drop anything into Gmail emails.

If you drag and drop from File Explorer/DirectoryOpus, the text "Drop Files Here" appears in the Gmail email (and if you let go, the file is attached). If you try to do the same from XYplorer, it says "Pin to Google Chrome" instead. Oh well, back to DirectoryOpus I suppose :-(

Back to DO, what a harsh fate! I hope you already tried ticking this:

Sadly, I'm also still unable to drag files from xyplorer to Chrome (Google Drive). I'm on 20.90.0500. This is an important feature to me.
