I need this option when I work at my office and receive an old file which I want to include
in my daily backup.
Right now I have to set created date to current and then set modified date to created date.
I don't like changing the created dated.

maybe XYplorer could made a poll to find out which of the wishes is more desire
by the users and update the program in that order.

by the way: XYplorer is amazing.

File / File Special / Set Modified Date to Current

Also, if you select a file, then you can change its date/time properties to any valid value in the Information panel. If you leave the date/time field empty, then the current system date/time will be used:If I misunderstood your question, please correct me.
