I just discovered that the DOS 8.3 Name under Win7 can be longer than 8.3 chars and have unicode characters. I wonder if this is an artifact of my VirtualBox?

This is how it looks in the Info Panel: Note: Your version of XY will display "???????" in this case. Only my current BETA can display Unicode chars here.

Well, looks like it's simply an XY bug! So, forget it and wait for a fix.

Yep Don, I can confirm it's just you. Russian doesn't show up in 8.3 here on my config.

It shows as this in Windows 7 x64 [English]. No virtual drives on this computer.
