Large icons view and "Mouse Down Blow Up" feature

first thing, i just start with this software and i just miss some features, so here i ask.
First i think a large icon view is really missing.
It could also be cool if i choose for example a 30x30 thumbnail preview not to have little icons but large icons. It would be easier to navigate.
About the "Mouse Down Blow Up", would there be a way for that awsome feature to be usable not only in thumbnail view?
One last thing still regarding images. Could it be possible to have a preview of the images in the properties, even fixed size one. I know it s not a propertie but it would prevent frome having to go from properties to preview on each image. May be even a way of choosing what properties you want in the properties tab. That way for example it would permit to see image size in properties and then prevent a lot of going back from properties to preview.
thanks for your great work

Hi!
2 x "No", 1 x "huh?"
1. I don't miss large icon view at all.
2. MDBU only in thumbnail views.
3. Explain again, please.
Welcome to XY!

I do miss large icon preview. I love the icons i am using and i would like to see them. I dont think it would a bad feature to add. It can only makes some customers like me even more happy and make them completly get rid of explorer.
For MDBU ok i understand. But would it be not a bad idea when you have 30x30 thumbnails to have at least large icons. For it would make the view a lot more usable. What i am looking in an explorer is customization eithers in view and options. I think adding those kind of things can only bring more users.
About the properties tab, i was trying to explain that it would be really really cool to be able to choose which infos appears ( and i mean even preview image for pictures at least). But this isnt like a priority.
For the first request, i think it s really important. As a huge customiser of my desktop i love to have it as usable as pretty
Thanks again for your work, your quick response and and your welcoming me

Ah yes, I see.
(a) There are issues involved with large pictures -> larger load time -> unwanted delays
(b) No place on the props tab
(c) who needs the props tab anyway

it's all as well in the list columns... (well, apart of the large icon

)
So: no.
Large Icons: XY is ultra-optimized for small-icons. You are the first user I ever heard of that uses large icons, and it would be a major work to add them, and it would slow the whole app down.
So: no.
Welcome, anyway!

I think it really is a shame about large icons but it is your software so your choice

Its damn easy to go from preview to properties. Hold ctrl and hit "1" or "Q", it swaps between properties and preview.
Caution: dont hit ctrl+Q twice.

I would have said: Ctrl+1 swaps to properties from preview and Ctrl+Q swaps to preview from properties...the way it was phrased, it implied to me that either 1 or Q swaps back and forth between the two, which is not true..just a clarification..

Almost 100% true...but...one can change the Attrib via tab only, right? And if I have 'Size col=KB Rounded Up', the prop tab shows me the exact byte counts, which is not on list view...

But watch out oldbies: all shortcuts containing numbers will soon be freely attachable to catalog items and whatever they do when clicked...

So...will there still then be shortcuts to select desired tab on Info Panel?
I suspect there are folks who use them quite often...I don't...but...

There will be catalog items that can do that

... not next week, but sometime... i'll make large parts of the app scriptable... So you will add a "script item" or "action item" to the catalog, set the action to "Open Info Panel, Tab 1" (or so) and attach Ctrl+1 to it, and everything will be as it has been...
