Dual Panes and Dual Trees

Currently, I have to go back to the directory listing (tree mode) and click on the directory to view on the active pane. Is it possible to add a second tree (right) for the right pane and left tree for the left pane (only mode)? (I'm referring to vertical mode.)

I noticed I can open two XYplorer sessions, but the directory tree is on the left, is there an option to move directory listing to right side and file listing on left? I'm reading XYplorer help and I'm not seeing it under "Tree." Perhaps and option to view tree or file listing display on left/right is simpler?

Thank you.

Well, no. There is only one tree and it is on the left.

If you don't ask, the answer will always be no :-)

I figured I asked, if other users see a need for it, they'll add onto the discussion.

It's been asked for numerous times before and a search for "dual tree" in first post would have found these two latest threads that may be of use:
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7927
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7368

FYI: On this forum, it's not a problem to re-open and continue a prior thread rather than create a brand new one.

Thank you, good to know. I didn't want to "hijack" a thread or re-open/continue an old thread. Also, I did perform a search before posting, but keeps getting that my search strings are too generic, etc. and nothing returns.

BTW, Hi and welcome to the XY forums!

To me, "hijack" of thread is when a dual tree tread gets a post about 'why cant this JPG open' or such...as long as thread matches your wish in the entirety or last posts, it's fine...helps reduce the clutter here!

And after being here a few yrs, I've got a decent idea of what strings work in search and which fail so just try some combinations tha look promising...I've also found that using "look in first post" often works better than a topic/subj search due to how badly some ppl condense their subjects.

Don, what are the reasons behind the absence of a second tree in dual pane?

Well, I guess the main reason behind the absence of a second tree is that I did not add one. :P

Seriously, other things deemed me more important.
