Like the new Paste Special Sub Menu, but the wording is not quite right...

Sorry to be pedantic

Paste as cut - the meaning is fairly obvious but it is poor English (you cannot really say Paste as Cut...).

How about

Paste - Move
Paste - Copy

Concise and grammatically correct.

I won't say anything on the grammar-English side as Im not qualified enough, but I kinda agree anyway that "Paste (Move)" sounded better/more "obvious" to me than "Paste as Cut"

And btw, that new "Paste Here To New Subfolder..." is awesome!! Very well done, once again!

Ok, no problem at all! I'm thankful for any advice like this. I don't want to drive customers away by torturing them with poor English, you know. If you see more problem grammar in the interface, the help file, the web site... just let me know.

So I simply go back to the previous captions: "Paste (Move)" etc. Then I don't have to update the help file on this.

EDIT: would "Paste (Cut)" work instead of "Paste (Move)"?? I'd like to make the connection to Cut vs Copy more obvious.

English isn't my first language so I can only speak for my own little self, but I like "Paste (Move)" better, simply cause it "speaks to me", ie I instantly know what it means/will do.
"Paste (Cut)" on the other hand just seems ambiguous/more confusing to me... but that could just be me

Sorry mate I am with Jacky, the only time cut and paste should be together is in the phrase 'Cut and Paste' - excuse the pun As they are essentially opposite actions.

I would stick with Paste (Move) - The meaning is crystal clear.
