hi, i just tried the XY, in Branch View i just selected the few folders and clicked the Branch view the result was it showed all files and its folders, but here what i need is only files not folders, i changed "default branch view types files only" in configuration settings even though i got the same result, but when in not selected it shows only files but if i select few folders and click branch view its shows files and folders . is there anyway to make it ?
Thank you

When you start by selecting multiple folders you are creating a "multi-branch" view, which apparently always shows the top level folders (I never set it to "files only" so hadn't noticed this..). If there are subfolders in any of the top-level folders included in the multi-branch view, you will notice that setting "files only" does cause those subfolders to be hidden (but not their files).

maybe a more clear answer would be that the only folders to be in multi-branch(with files only setting) are those you selected for branch view.

This wasn't the first time somebody stumbled over this property of MBVs (showing the top folders together with the files). I guess I will have to make it optional.
