Two things:
Is there a way a favorite file have bold or a special color code to indicate it, just like favorite folders already have?
And in the case of XYplorer listing a color filtered name:* *, what about it auto switching that found file name as a favorite file?

Tools > Customize Tree > Mark Favorites (Icon), or Mark Favorites (Bold).
