Open new tab instead of reusing selected tab

When I do something outside of XYPlorer that invokes the XYPlorer-is-default-file-manager feature of shell integration, I would like it to open a new tab, and not re-use the currently selected tab. In this circumstance the last thing I've been doing is NOT using XYPlorer, and therefore the current XYPlorer tab is not my context, I'm not thinking about it, have probably forgotten which tab I had used last, and may very well not not want it screw up the state I've left it in.

Awesome, thanks!
(I tried searching the forums, but did not find the right terms to search on.)
However this solution changes another behavior. Whereas before it would bring XYPlorer to the front when clicking a folder in windows explorer, not it does not. It opens a new tab in XY but does not bring it to the front. Is there a way to change this also?

I'm not sure what you are asking...both options under Shell Integration are checked, if that's what you mean. This is on 64 bit Windows 7, btw.

sorry, have no Win7 to check if maybe that's the case.

on XP all works fine.
