Hi and welcome,

I take it you're already using Details view (View > Views > Details), which by default shows Date Modified and Date Created?

If you mean the number of seconds (HH:MM:SS) then yes, by right-clicking the date column and selecting the desired time format.

A quick Google search led me to this page. Based on that info, you'd want to see the created/accessed/modified times of a file shown as File Time instead of the, much more readable, System Time?

Can I ask why you need that level of time precision and where you've seen that offered elsewhere? Regarding the latter, neither Windows Explorer nor several third-party file managers, seem to offer this.

XY does offer it (since 20080313)! But it's a hidden feature (I just don't find the time to document all). :mrgreen:

Simply enter this through the address bar and you get millisecond resolution (supported in all NT and later systems) in the file list dates.

Code: Select all

::msecs;
PS: the setting is not stored between sessions.
