7-zip context menu not working with XY?

I noticed something today: the 7-zip context menu does not show up with XY.
Tried it with the default explorer and it shows up...
Can't XY handle the 7-zip context menu or will this be implemented in the near future?

64bit OS? XYplorer doesn't display 64bit extensions. Look if you can find a 32 bit version.

Never thought of that!
It was indeed a 64bit version of 7-zip! Tried the 32bit and it works perfectly!

For any of the newer (or maybe not so) users that may be having this problem. I was also and already running 32bit 7zip.
Go to
configuration > extended and look at the 2nd box down...
Default items only in shell context menu
Un-check it and all should be well.
I had been seeing and using 7zip in my context menu and all of the sudden it was gone.
Then I remembered I had recently made some changes in the extended config section. Sure enough I had put a check in the box above by mistake. Remember to save the config too if you are not doing so automatically.
Hope it's a tip that helps.

Nope: that box was never ticked and it's still unticked... and my 64bit menus are nowhere

And they won't show! Because you just said "64bit menus"...the
only menus that can appear with a 32bit appl like XY are
32 bit menus...that's why we're saying that having the correct vers is required.
