Hey guys,

pretty new to XY and so far I'm loving it, but my first problem has entered... scipting...

I tried to read the help file but it's still greek to me! How you guys can "read" this kind of stuff is beyond me!

I would love to have the Ctrl+Shift+P (item names copied to clipboard) under a button.
How would the scipt look like?

There is no script needed.

You may try if you understand that how-to better >> How to add an Custom Toolbar Button (CTB)

then scroll down to How to use XY internal commands to use as script or as command for an button

HTH? Else ask again.

I was looking for that or similar but you beat me to it!

Magic: See how fast you sometimes get an answer here? That's why we LOVE XY and the folks who hang out here!

Hi Stefan,

that was kinda easy indeed! (but it still is greek to me ;))

@j_c_hallgren:
It's good to see a lot of friendly people who are willing to help! Sometimes newbies are getting bashed for asking simple/stupid questions...

Most of us forum regulars try to be as kind and friendly as possible to all users! We do, however, ask that newbies do some basic searching on past threads before creating new and redundant threads, esp when it's similar to one from within last 2-3 wks! Yes, it may be hard to catch on to what search terms work best but as long as ppl try somewhat, that's generally good enough.

The only bashing that really takes place here is some friendly ribbing between us...and of course, for those spam posts!
