tab1 w/preview; tab2 w/version each w/ diff panel setting

Hi, I wonder if each tab can have its own info panel setting, for example, tab1 w/ preview and tab 2 w/ version? So when changing tabs one doesn't have to change the info panel setting if the setting needs to be different for each tab. Thanks
Rick

Hey Rick, info panel is not linked to tabs, so a scenario that you describe is not currently possible.

Hi and a belated welcome from me as well!
As zer0 says, it's not linked to tabs but for years, I've had the same wish as it would avoid the following major irritation: having preview active on a TXT folder and then switching tabs to a folder full of XLS so it tries to preview that which delays tab switch and opens up an Object in my Excel...if I could keep the Financial folder on Properties and the Rhymes folder on Preview, that would certainly help in that case.
As long as it would tie the IP tab to the List tab, that would help a lot...size of IP and other display options would be nice but the most important is which IP is active to avoid the hangups/issues related to file type.

I've also often wished for this, though I can get by with the current behavior. In my case, I frequently need to change file dates after doing a build, so I'd like that tab to be on the "Properties" IP tab, whereas I use "Preview" on most of the others.
Again, not a huge deal, but I'd love to have that functionality.
So +1 from me on this!
