New Folder, Vbox Shared Folder, Launch Bar...

I checked the website a couple of days ago and discovered that DUBs had been introduced a while ago. That sounds like a launch bar I thought, so I downloaded for another trial, and the DUBs are great! It's just about there!
All it needs now is another bar to put them on... please. (I've changed to small icons, and I guess that I can remove a bunch of the standard buttons, but it would be so much better to have (or be able to have) a separate bar.)
As per the first item in the Subject Bar, I was going to whinge about a problem creating new folders after enabling the 'Create New Subfolder Here' option in the Extended Configuration 'Context Menu' items. After enabling said option, I tried to use it to create a new (sub)folder two or three levels down in my main drive, but got an error message box about 'not being an allowed operation here' (or something like that). I tried again at higher levels up the tree, and got the same response. It wasn't until I right-clicked on 'Local Disk (C:)' that it worked as expected. I made a mental note of it, and continued with other things. It was only when I started writing this post that I went back to it in order to get the exact message, but lo and behold, it now works as expected at any sub-level of the tree. The only reason that I can think of (for it now working) is that it had to be invoked first at the root level (some sort of first-time-through thing???). Anyway, it's fine now.
However, I almost immediately hit another snag. I am running 32-bit XP (SP3) as a Vbox guest on a 64-bit W7 host. I have configured one of my W7 folders as a Vbox Shared Folder, and if I use Windows Explorer in the XP system I can see and access (as expected) the 'Virtualbox Shared Folders' entry directly under 'My Network Places\Entire Network'. But it doesn't show up in XYplorer. Is it me, or...
I'm looking forward to Xploring further.
