Hi.
Please refer to the attached image.
After moving around with my Windows settings last month, I've encountered this problem.
Can anyone please help me how could I get the status bar display back?
Thank you so much.

Re: Missing Font on Status Bar..
The status bar is visible (remember it appears in the middle when the IP is opened), but judging from the crazy italics font everywhere else I'd guess the font is too big for the status bar.
Unfortunately, I don't recall where status bar gets its font settings so hopefully someone else or Don does.

Second try: Configuration > Fonts > General, affected my status bar.TheQwerty wrote:The status bar is visible (remember it appears in the middle when the IP is opened), but judging from the crazy italics font everywhere else I'd guess the font is too big for the status bar.

Re: Missing Font on Status Bar..
Thanks qwerty & nas for your input.
Yes, the config|fonts|general does affect the status bar font.
But as you can see in the pic, the Find Files frame font is OK i.e. the font of the status bar/find files should share the same setting right?
Thank you.

I'd try two things:aimy wrote:Yes, the config|fonts|general does affect the status bar font.

1. Run XYplorer with a clean profile by copying XYplorer.exe to and empty folder and running it from there after quitting your normal instance of XYplorer. If the status bar looks all right with a clean profile, you can exclude Windows settings as the source of the problem.
2. With a proper backup, delete the [Fonts]-section of XYplorer.ini. For reference: mine looks like this:
Code: Select all
[Font]
Name=Tahoma
MilliSize=8250
Bold=0
Italic=0
DialogFont=Verdana
InterfaceFont=Tahoma
MonospaceFont=Courier New
MonospaceFontMilliSize=8250
EditorFont=Courier New
EditorFontMilliSize=8250-

Re: Missing Font on Status Bar..
Well, problem solved.
Thanks a lot nas8e9 for your idea about Configurations|Fonts|General.
I've tried it just now in my office PC where the problem occurred, I notice that the General font is set to MS Sans Serif, so I've changed it to Tahoma and the problem instantly solved!
Thanks.
