Alt+Up/Down arrow keys in the tree

What are Alt+Up/Down arrow keys in the tree supposed to do?

They move focus up/down the folders in the tree, but the file list does not follow. I can't see any use for this, only confusion! Am I missing something obvious, or is it a bug?

Ctrl+Up/Down arrows behave the same.

It's indeed a bug, thank you, Sir!
Alt+Up/Down arrow keys currently of have no special function, i.e. they work the same as without ALT.
Ctrl+Up/Down: cycle through siblings (nodes with same parent).

But if there aren't any siblings then I would expect them to do nothing. As it is the positioning to a different folder in the tree at the same level, but not changing the file list, is confusing.

Also Shift+Up/Down arrow creates a new tab with the name of the folder that focus has moved to. Should it or is this also a bug? I can't see the purpose of it and I didn't see it mentioned in either the help or my history file.

Well, I should have mentioned that I intended to and eventually did fix the bug  All will be as you expect it to be.

Holding Shift while browsing always creates a new tab in XY. If you don't like it don't hold Shift. :)

Yes boss, I'll be good and keep my finger off the Shift key!

So what is Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down going to do? At the moment it does the same as Ctrl+Up/Down.

Yes, I fixed that too: now it cycles the siblings creating new tabs. Not many softwares can do that!
