My wish list
Posted: 08 May 2011 12:46
I am new to this product so forgive me if any of my wishes are actually in the product - if they are, kindly let me know.
Here's my list, already shared with the author...not in any particular order
Thumnail MS Office files, Word and Excel being the most important.
Ditto for OpenOffice
Allow file conversion using Save or Save-As. Example, if viewing a .jpg, I want to Save-AS .gif. Having a converter directly in the view is something I am used to with another product and its VERY handy. Same goes other basic image edit functions...see next:
Support very basic image edits: Crop, AutoCrop, Adjust (brightness, contrast, etc, AutoAdjust,
Borders, Resize and Image Rotate. Tab and Shift Tab should quickly enable fixing orientation
Please show portrait images in portrait (rather than landscape) view.
Need a new pane to the right of thumbnails for preview (is this the same thing as another user's suggestion for the 'catalog' to the right? I don't know what a catalog is.
Allow preview to be detached so the image could be seen in full screen (or any size) on a separate monitor.
Push the directory size calculator and image thumbnailer into the background so the user isn't suddenly stopped when they click into a directory that hasn't been seen by XY before.
