XYplorer Beta Club

Hello,

I am trying XYplorer right now.
and so far I like it a lot.

I read in this forum that there will be no other languages of this software
and I am ok with that.
The only thing bothering me a lot is that Xyplorer even shows the original Win7 system folders
not in german (like it was installed) the folders are in english
(Program files = Programme, Program Files (x86) = Programme (x86), Users = Benutzer)
and that is very hard to get used to.

Is it possible to show those folders with their original name.
I tried many alternatives to the Windows Explorer
CubicExplorer, SpeedCommander, Explorer++
They all have their problems, but every program shows those folders in german.

Hi,

if you tick Configuration | General | Show junctions the german "folders" should become visible (I can see them here in my German Win7/64). They actually are Junctions, that's why.

Same here on Vista 32 Bit, German.

Ah, those junctions are also HIDDEN and SYSTEM, so you have to tick the two checkboxes above "show junctions" as well.
