Version: 9.90.0500
OS: Windows 7, 64 bit

To reproduce:
* Highlight a file
* CTRL+C
* CTRL+V (copy of file appears, with " - Copy" added to the filename)
* CTRL+Z

Expected result: The copy of the file should disappear.
Actual result: An error dialog-box appears, stating that "This action cannot be undone yadda yadda").

Resolved.

For some reason, the definitions for Copy and Paste had disappeared.

I can not understand how this can be resolved. Because XY doesn't remember names of copies created by it.

Ok, I was too quick in assuming it was just the missing key-commands.

This also causing a graphical glitch in XYplorer as per my screenshot below.

No glitch, this is done on purpose. Because the button has turned into a dropdown button when the last action cannot be undone.

So, in that situation, what is the purpose of that child drop-down button to the right of it? Having them both do the same thing is redundant.

That is true. But removing this arrow on the fly would look even more weird.

Agreed. However, you can rework undo/redo buttons' to function as standard split buttons and all will be dandy.

Uh, black-out, I don't get it. Please explain again.

Look at "Home" split button in IE's tab bar. When you click on the drop-down chevron, only that part of the button appears pressed. The same principle should apply to undo/redo buttons. This is especially true as we can press "Undo/Redo" buttons on their own. Hybridising a split button into a menu button upon unsuccessful undo/redo certainly does not present a good experience as error dialogue is only shown once.

"Home" split button??? I'm still blacked out.

EDIT: AH, in IE, okay. I think it's a very minor problem if at all, and changing it in your way would be too costy on my side.

All those GUI niggles are minor problems to you, but their quantity amplifies the magnitude of the issue, so it's no small fish. Typically, you're very agile when it comes to things like that ;)

Yes, but with this case I don't even see the problem.

Yes but, so are you going to fix it?
