Version 9.90.0500 freezes while copying

I'm trying this version and, when I'm copying something, the program freezes: doesn't respond, minimize or close!
When the copy is finished, the program returns to respond.

Welcome to the forums.
Without background processing switched on, this is the way XY behaves.
Check out Configuration / File Operations for these settings...

Considering how much of an issue this "freezing" was before XYcopy was introduced and the inconvenience it continues to cause, I am flummoxed as to why it is not enabled by default when XYplorer runs on Vista/W7. It's a no-brainer, right?

+1. There have been issues with scripting, with the help file not containing a warning about potential out-of-order operations; other than that I'd support it becoming the default.

Agreed, it's time to make it the default.
