Option for single-click on a folder (list) to navigate into

I have another wish. I wish there was an option to single-click a folder (in the LIST VIEW, I know the tree view already supports this) to navigate INTO the folder. This is such a helpful feature as I navigate around mostly using the list view (not the tree view).

Why don't you program your mouse to make a Double-Click with the middle button? It's great. I never double-clicked for years.

Thank you for the suggestion. I could do that. Unfortunately the middle button is really hard to push to click (Logitech G9x). I may use one of the other buttons to do so. I still would like the option in XYplorer however if at all possible. I love XYplorer though.
