Configuration Settings Question

I have tried a number of different Configuration settings to try and get the left pane to keep the tree expanded for a number of different drives. If I expand a folder on a drive on my network, at times XYplorer collapses the drives on my local computer. Is there a setting that I am missing here? I don't know how to include screen shots from my Configurations settings.

Hi,
Go to menu Tools>Configuration, in General section uncheck "Auto-optimize tree".
