I wish that XYplorer find an item by entering it line number.
And it would be nice that we can find an item by quick search.

You said "by entering it line number" : see Go > Go to Line...

Hi.Thanks.I mean by pressing it line number.For example by pressing 1 2 3 it should show me item 123.
I want type ahead and not in a dialog.Quick search too.Some text like "x*p.exe" should show me "xyplorer.exe".Some where like a textbox under the active pane.

Yes, I see. For Quick search, there is such feature in Total Commander. It is a killer feature.
In TC, as soon as I tape "f" all the files not containing "f" are hidden. Then I tape "i". Only the files containing "fi" are showed, and so on. No need to tape Enter, filtering is dynamical.
You can also use wildcards as ? or * but then needs plugin "Quick Search Extended".
Below I taped "odb" therefore only "*odb*" files are showed. In XY there are 2 similar features :
1) filtering, but we must press Enter before filtering is active.
Try to enter "|exe" in address bar.
2) Spot'n'Jump which highlights string in files whose name contains it.
Try to enter ">exe" in address bar.
Both accept wildcard.

What happens if a file name begins by a digit ?

In this case it should return line number not file name.
I have assigned some key's like "E" for going to drive "E" as below:
goto "E:\|";sel 1; focus List;
and when i press "E" then that script runs and XY shows my Drive "E".
I think that's not problem Because that's my setting and option.
So it's possible to add a option to enable or disable.
And "quick search" exactly is the same that you posted!
