I know that right now, you can rename a tab to whatever you want. I would like to suggest two enhancements to this:

1.) Give the option to make the program title reflect the name of the tab, not the location. Right now, the program's title reflects the path, not the tab name.
2.) Give the option to name tabs only if they are a certain directory. For example, if I have a directory called c:\something\programname_version, if the tab is in that directory, make the tab name be "Program Name". Currently you can name a tab, but when you change paths, the old name stays.

Ok, the first one is a nice option, the 2nd one I would find rather confusing.

What do others think?

Well, yes the 1st one would be nice. In the same idea when in Search mode there's a path on XYplorer's title that is I think that last path active, not really make any sense I think....

The second one could be interresting, if someone wants his documents directory always called "My Stuff" instead of "C:\Document And Settings\blablabla...." but it should, then, be done along with the favorites (as its already been requested to use custom names for favorites)

No, it's the current path, not the last path (the Search path is displayed as well in the caption). As you know in XY you can search any location without changing the current path. Whether it makes sense to display it in Search mode is another question. It might be better to do it in reverse order: first the search path, then the current path.

Hmmmm....the second option intrigues me...could be nice.
