3 Things I want to suggest

Hi,I'm new here and I really like that program but I really want xyplorer to be able to do those things:

1.Larger normal icons(small, details and list are just too small)..."thumbnails 72x54" is fine but I don't want XYPlorer to show\create thumbnails when I don't want to.

2.To show the animated gifs normally(animated)on the info panel and when you click and hold the left mouse button over them, not only the first frame.

3.When I preview something(video, audio, swf)and open new tab/pane,to not stop the preview until I click on some other file(not on folder) or click on some part of the tab content(which contain the file which is previewed at the moment)to unhighlight anything selected.Or to say it other words,to stop the preview only when the highlighted item is not highlighted anymore.

PS.I'm no sure if I explained "3" correctly.

Welcome!

1. You can specify views on a per-folder basis and stop creation of thumbnails with Esc if I'm not wrong.
3. Any action that removes selection from a current item is going to stop its preview. I'm not sure which actions you're referring to that don't result in loss of selection.

1.Yes but I want every icon/folder to be 72x54 and xyplorer to not show/create thumbnails when I don't want to.

Can I suggest those too...

1.Middle click on folder(files list)to open it in new tab
I know that I can do that by middle clicking on the folder in the tree but the tree is rarely enabled

2.To show cached thumbnails even if "Create thumbnails on disk" is disabled and to save new thumbnails only when that option is enabled(like it is now)

3.Right clicking on the tab bar to also show the option to restore the last closed tab(not only by right clicking on the tab)or middle clicking on the tab bar to restore the last closed

4.When the option "Show folder size in file list" is disabled and I click on the button "Calculate Folder Size",the info to stay until I turn off XYplorer

I like some of them, but currently no time for this. Sometime next year maybe...
