Search And Replace

I would like a way to search and replace a file.

Pane1 - desktop with the file I want to replace the other file or files with.

Pane2 - Search computer for same name file.

Then replace files in the search with the file on the desktop.

my goal would be to replace the old versions of files (Programs,Files) with the new version.

I would like to replace all my copies of a file at one time.

I think I found the answer.

Backup Focused Files From Inactive Pane to Several Folders at a Time
-propagate files across several destinations on opposite pane.

I think this will work for what I need to do.

You're welcome.
That script specifically is being of a great help to me as it is easily customizable and can be adapted to emulate another way to deal with favorite files - displaying them all at once on a single list, for different purposes. In other words, it's a great FUNCTION for us, full-time file-managers.
Soon I'll find some time and post updated version of it (concerning the "fav files" management) plus several others.
And remember: our Library, not to mention you made your important contribution to it, too, for which I'm grateful.
