Screen Not Refreshing upon delete or move

I move and delete files all the time. I have to hit the F5 key to get the screen to refresh. I have enabled the Auto-Refresh boxes on the Advanced Tab as shown. I am not sure if I need to check other boxes. I want the screen to refresh any time I make a change.

Welcome!
First, make sure "View>Suspend Auto-refresh" is unchecked?
Also, check if this problem exists on fresh XY install (Copy XYplorer to another folder and run from there).

Clean install - View | Suspend Auto-Refresh is checked AND CANNOT BE UN-CHECKED.
Old ini file (tried several). If Suspend Auto-Refresh is un-checked it can be changed, but it's state is not saved. If Suspend Auto-Refresh is checked it CAN NOT be changed.
Is Auto-Refresh ever going to work correctly, just tried the recycle bin again and it is still erratic (Suspend Auto-Refresh is UN-CHECKED).

The ability to toggle it also depends on the list's location... and the recycle bin works just fine here, but let's keep those problems in the relevant thread instead of derailing this one.
EDIT: Censoring to protect the innocent children.

Vulgar language is not supposed to be used on forums that can be read by anybody.
If you must use that kind of language, then keep it to P.M's.
All it does is show your ignorance.

Clearly you were so offended that you could not bother to respond with the locations where you were unable to toggle Suspend Auto-Refresh, so allow me to ask nicely.
Please, do tell what locations the active list pane is currently viewing when you attempt to toggle Suspend Auto-Refresh with no success?

I have just updated to the latest version of XYplorer 9.70 and am still have problems with this issue. The problem arises in the following situation:
If I click on a folder in the left-hand pane that has a number of sub-folders, the sub-folders appear in the right-hand pane correctly. Then, if I delete a sub-folder in the left-hand pane, it is removed from the right-hand pane but still shows in the left-hand pane. I have to use the Refresh option (F5) in order for the left-hand pane to be correct. I have the Auto-Refresh option set.
Is there something else that I am missing?
Thanks,
Joyce

OK, some questions:
Mini Tree or Maxi Tree?
Locked or Unlocked Tree?
Are the folders empty or not?
Deleted to recycler or permanent?
Deleted using DEL key or context menu?
Is the current Tree focus on the direct parent of the deleted folder?
Does it happen always or sometimes?
Is it a special path? (e.g. Desktop)

OK, some questions - Here are my responses:
Mini Tree or Maxi Tree? - Maxi Tree I guess (Mini Tree is not checked).
Locked or Unlocked Tree? - Unlocked Tree
Are the folders empty or not? - Can be either.
Deleted to recycler or permanent? - Permanent delete.
Deleted using DEL key or context menu? - Use the DEL key.
Is the current Tree focus on the direct parent of the deleted folder? - Yes
Does it happen always or sometimes? - Always.
Is it a special path? (e.g. Desktop) - No. It can be either on my internal hard drive or my external hard drives.

I have difficulties here
1) Permanent delete using DEL? So you hold Shift as well? Or is your system configured to skp the recycler?
2) "Use the DEL key" AND "focus on the direct parent of the deleted folder" is not possible if you delete in the Tree.
One question I forgot: Which OS?

1) Permanent delete using DEL? So you hold Shift as well? Or is your system configured to skp the recycler? - Set to skip the Recycle bin.
2) "Use the DEL key" AND "focus on the direct parent of the deleted folder" is not possible if you delete in the Tree.

- Why not? It should revert back to the previous level. For example if I have the following setup:
Left pane:
Downloads
Folder 1
Folder 2
If I delete Folder 1 using the DEL key, it disappears from the right hand pane but still shows in the left hand pane until I click on the Downloads folder or press the F4 key. It should be removed from the left hand pane as well and focus should be placed on the Downloads folder automatically since Auto-Refresh is turned on.
One question I forgot: Which OS? - Windows Vista Home Edition and also Windows XP.

DEL applies to the focused folder. So have "Folder 1" focused inthe Tree and then press DEL?

That is correct. It should be automatically removed from the left hand pane and focus placed on the parent folder.

Cannot reproduce it.

Are you deleting the folder in the left hand pane? It will not automatically refresh the left hand pane. If I delete the folder in the right hand pane, the left hand pane refreshes as it should. This problem happens on both my Vista and XP computers.
