Multi-file rename

Hello,
This is a feature that I saw in another file explorer app (I cannot remember which one right now) that I really liked a lot, and I was wondering if it could be implemented in XYPlorer. When I click in a tab to rename a file, I can rename the file normally, then, if I use the up or down arrow keys, I can go the previous or next file respectively and change its name as well. This continues until I hit the ENTER key to end the renaming process. This is a VERY convenient way of changing all of the filenames in a folder.

In XYplorer you can press Tab when in rename mode; that will commit the rename, select the next file and enter rename mode for it. Shift+Tab allows you to go up rather than down in the list.

Not sure if it would help, but have you tried "Edit Item Names" as introduced in 9.50.03 (http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 725#p51725)?

BTW, I'm sure I've seen this request (or very close to it) at least once before here...will try to locate that thread and update this if found.

Update: Found it! See this thread http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5609
