Ignore server references in lists?

I use things like 'Copy to' to copy files to servers over VPNs which are not normally accessible from my computer (unless the specific customer VPN is running).
When there are server locations in my 'Copy to' list (and history etc.) which are not accessible this causes a long delay before the corresponding 'Copy to' or other Xyplorer interface element appears.
As far as I can see the only way to avoid this is to manually edit my lists in Xyplorer, removing the inaccessible servers.
Is there a setting or other technique which can prevent this delay from happening in XYplorer?
I have the 'Advanced' setting "Assume that servers are available" currently checked but still get the long delay.
Thanks!
Pete
