Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

1) I'm not having luck getting them to work unless I ignore extensions.

I tested it a minute before upload, but you are right... code is not as durable these days...2) because of the modifiers (there will be more soon)...
3) there will be scripting support soon, so you can make your own menu.

Just an thought: is "Sync Tools" the right term?
Since we didn't sync here but just "compare".
I mean
sync = make both the same
compare = show the difference
