History.txt's Pre-History.

Do someone have TrackerV3 (XYplorer's
previous incarnation) history so I can have a full reference source prior to v3.00.0098?
Thanks!
(hey... don't look at me like this! I'm
just a
librarian!

I believe that as far as anyone here is concerned, when Tracker was renamed to XY is when XY was "born" so that's the base release...thus logically, any vers prior to that don't exist.

@Hallgren:
Partially agree, but look: there's no official support for such argument since we clearly can see several TrackerV3 changes since v3.00.0098 up to v4.20.0078, when in fact the changing happened.
Also, name changing is just a... change of a name. XYplorer is the very same creation since TrackerV3 v1.00 or earlier. It's just evolving (and what [r]evolutionary steps it did throughout years!) and I believe its history deserves being honored, officially (being integral part of History.txt) or not (via forum/XYwiki).

v3.00.0098 - 1999-12-05 16:44 is the first history entry I have ever done.

Well... at least I can dream peacefully by knowing this.

Thank you, Don!

Before that I had engraved some basic stuff in mammoth bones but they somehow got lost during the Thirty Years' War...

Pity.
When you implement the Time 2.0/Time Machine, you can please reconsider because of us who see how far your "unusual basic" went so far...
hmmm... as we currently can't access such info, you probably 1)
haven't invented in the future TM at all or 2) simply don't want to.
XY not having a Time Machine feature will certainly be a deal breaker for me...

-while I'm not sure on what's going on, I'm still trying it!
