Why is Go To From Here only matching zip files?

Hi,
Using XYplorer beta 9.10.0015 on Win7 Pro 64bit. When I use the Go To From Here function in a tabbed folder containing all kinds of files, it shows matching zip files only. Is there a filter that is getting set somewhere and how do I change that? The visual filter is not set.

Hi,
Me again. I know it's the weekend, but I can really use some timely help on this problem if anybody knows what's wrong. Let me clarify what the issue is: I'm in a folder in the file list. I press Ctrl-Shift-G. The folder's path appears preset in the destination field. I go to the end of the path after the slash and start entering characters. What I'm expecting is that in the resulting incremental popup list I will see any matching file or folder in the directory that begins with those characters. But instead, the only things that appear are just folders and zip files. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Otherwise, could I somewhere have a filter set that's restricting it to just folders and zip files? Or what else?

Using XYplorer beta 9.10.0015 on Win7 Pro 64bit.

Help anybody, please? :cry: Can somebody at least confirm whether the Go To Here popup incremental list is in fact designed to only show folder and zips and not any matching file or folder?

Firstly, I dont understand why you are using Ctrl+Shift+G to look for matching folders. It is supposed to take you to another folder, not search a folder.

I was hoping to use Ctrl-Shift-G as an easier incremental search function so I can quickly navigate down to a particular file or folder inside the file list. (Just typing characters into the file list is cumbersome with the lack of a repeat function, etc.) Even if that's not the way it works, why does it include zips and not say RAR files also? Actually, selecting a zip doesn't doing anything.

Probably your system is configured to treat Zips as folders. What you are seeing in the dropdown in a shell interface embedded in XY. I have no control over its contents.

Tip: Use Spot & Jump.

I did try that but cannot reproduce it. But it does sound weird. Maybe you can describe step-by-step way to reproduce this. As in if you used mouse or keyboard to trigger something.

Ah, didn't know about that feature! Yes, I think that will work for me. Guess I need to read through the PDF manual again.

Hmm ... I did disable zip file integration in Explorer because I prefer to use Winzip. For Win 7, that involved deleting these 2 registry keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E88DCCE0-B7B3-11d1-A9F0-00AA0060FA31}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0CD7A5C0-9F37-11CE-AE65-08002B2E1262}
