Having recently noted the time gap from 8.8 to 8.9 am now in the embarrassing situation of not having finished studying the PDF for the latter when along comes 9.0.

Which generates the following idea: How about being the document with naming the new features for that version with a link to their location in the pages.

Yeah, that works and your point about coding rather than document editing is to our benefit.

Still it is not so user friendly and (to use a contemporary Yankee idiom) rather "dissses" the customer.
