Unable to cancel folder rename when folder is in use

hi, I am using XYp Pro v8.80.0100 under Windows 7 Pro 64bits. I was copying some files into a folder with XYp. I then opened another XYp session and tried to rename this folder as I did not notice the file copy did not complete. I got an error message saying that the folder was in use, fair enough as the folder was indeed in use. However the dialog box had two options Try Again Again and Cancel. I clicked on Cancel, the box dissapears but it then comes come again with the same error. I clicked on Cancle 5 or 6 times with the same results. Only after the file copy was complete I was able to escape the loop. It looks like XYp is still trying to rename the folder even after I cancelled the action?
BTW I noticed I can't use XYp while I am doing a large file copy. Is this a known issue or Iam I missing some configuration setting? I can use Windows Explorer while a file copy is in progress.

Hi,
There were some changes made regarding the rename thing in v8.80.0200. Could you update to the newest beta and try to reproduce this.

Hi,
Just downloaded and installed v8.80.0300 and the issue is still there. In fact even if I wait for the file copy to be finished and I click on "Cancel" on the rename error dialog box the folder still gets renamed. I noticed the dialogs seems to be from Windows Explorer. I tested this same issue in WE and it works fine.

Next time the dialogue comes up, click "Cancel" and then, without clicking anywhere else, press Esc. Does that solve it?

That is a known issue with a long thread dedicated to it:
http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2810 Don't mind that it's referring to Vista 32-bit. The issue exists in all Vista SP1+ operating systems.

It sort of fixes it. I had to press Esc several times to escape the loop but that did it in the end.
OK, I have read the thead and I will move my question there as it is more revelant. The Move issue should probably go away once XY gets it's own Copy routine. The copy issue is much more important than the Move issue since the Move issue happens due to user error so I will wait for the Copy freeze fix to see if this issue is sorted.

Is it possible to have a hint on the dialog window saying what to do, as in
?
Now and then I see this question here on forum and think that would be more good than harm, despite being not standard.
-Keep in mind that standards are created to help.

It's a Windows Shell dialogue so I don't think one is able to change what it says. Once you know what to do you're fine
