Please forgive the stupid question, but what program language is the script written in? I know several, but I do not recognize the examples I have seen.

If this is a proprietary language, where can I get a syntax / command reference?

It's an internal scripting language, but IIRC it has borrowed a number of features from php.

Help file and Wiki are great sources of information regarding syntax and examples
