Great. We have a freezer. But what about a whole museum?
Tought on this considering ways to improve License Lounge customer value. Found this

Code: Select all

v3.40.0025 - 2003-10-30 13:11
    * Removed the nag screen at start up. Now the only remaining difference between the home license and the professional license is whether you pay or not ;)
and came out with the idea. Being a VERY outdated, limitated version, this could be another entry point to new users who currently can't afford a whole license. An obligatory "feature of the day" nag screen (in ways of a non-disableable "tip of the day" opening box) could remember the benefits of using a licensed, up to date version of XYplorer.

I was discussing the idea with a friend who laughed, but he does have a good v.7 set to contribute - I wondered why he keep them anyway as he laughed at me...
I for myself would like to try a feature:

Code: Select all

v7.90.0125 - 2009-02-21 13:18
    * Address Bar, Go To dialog, Find Files Location field: From now on,
relative paths are resolved relative to the current path. Before,
they had been resolved relative to the application path.
Note that in Address Bar and Go To, you now can use ".." to go
      upwards
that didn't lasted long, as in

Code: Select all

v7.90.0126 - 2009-02-26 21:30
    - Removed the changes made in v7.90.0125 - 2009-02-21 13:18.

Better learn to live with the idea that things come and go... :)
