Can XYplorer List Files as Thumbnails?

Can XYplorer display the list of files in a directory as thumbnails, or is it limited to listing as text only? I'm not looking to display a single file preview, but rather display the whole file list as thumbnails.
I am evaluating the XYplorer because Windows Vista and Windows 7 Explorer have an Auto Refresh Feature that forces a sort whenever a file name is changed. The annoying and disruptive functionality apparently cannot be turned off (spent an hour on the phone with fee based Microsoft support). XYplorer lets the user choose when to sort, but when working with a large set of photos, it is imperative that the file list be displayed as thumbnails to maintain orientation with a projects objectives.
So the question is two part. Can the program do it, and if it can, then how?

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!
I'm a bit puzzled as to what you're referring to...does anything in this page deal with what you mean?
http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/Views
Or do you mean in reference to manual sorting as in
http://www.xyplorer.com/release_8.50.htm?

Part 1: yes.
Part 2: right-click the list, first item of the context menu is "Views".
In the default toolbar there's also a button "Views".
My personal favorite way is a toolbar button "Thumbnails View" (add it to the toolbar via menu Tools / Customize Toolbar) that toggles between details and thumbnails view.
Welcome,
Don
Can Long Filenames Wrap Below a Thumbnail?

j_c & Don, Thank you for your assistance. I was able to display the thumbnails.
A follow up question is can the thumbnail view display the full file name on multiple lines as in Windows Explorer, which will wrap the file name into as many lines as necessary? My current XYplorer thumbnail view shows only one line of text below the thumbnail, so my long file names have their ends cut off which can burden my workflow if I can't differentiate filenames without clicking on each one to see the full name.
So far the utility looks promising, but it will take a couple of weeks and some learning curve to complete my evaluation. I have number of follow up questions, but I'll try to find answers in the help resources prior to soliciting assistance.

Have you looked at the "Details with thumbs" view as one possible option? Or using File Info Tips to show those details while hovering on thumb? The Info Tips doesn't require a click and also shows you things like file size.

While we prefer folks do some research before asking obvious questions here, we also don't want ppl spending unneeded time spinning their wheels either...so please post here if you can't find an answer in within a reasonable time...and also check back for a reply soon as sometimes we've answered stuff in less than a few min, ok? We're quite active here as you may have guessed/seen.
